Accessibility Statement
Our commitment to making Daffanny easy for everyone to browse and shop, and how to reach us if something gets in your way.
Effective date: September 23, 2026
Last updated: September 23, 2026
In short: We want everyone to be able to browse and buy from Daffanny comfortably. We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA across our site, we test with keyboards and screen readers, and if anything gets in your way we will help you shop by email instead. Tell us at [email protected] and we will reply within 2 business days.
1. Our Commitment
Daffanny believes that finding lingerie that fits and feels good should be possible for every woman, including people with disabilities and people who use assistive technology. We are committed to making www.daffanny.com (the "Site") accessible and usable for the widest possible audience, regardless of ability, device or circumstance.
Accessibility is part of how we design, build and write content for the Site, not an afterthought. We review new pages and features for accessibility before they are released, and we treat accessibility problems reported by customers as defects that need to be fixed.
2. Our Accessibility Standard
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, motor, speech, cognitive, learning and neurological disabilities.
WCAG is organised around four principles. Content should be:
- Perceivable – information is presented in ways that everyone can perceive, for example with text alternatives for images and sufficient colour contrast.
- Operable – every function can be used with a keyboard and other input methods, and people have enough time to complete tasks.
- Understandable – text is clear, navigation is consistent, and forms explain what is needed and how to fix mistakes.
- Robust – content works reliably with current and future browsers and assistive technologies.
We currently consider the Site to be partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA, meaning that most content meets the standard but some areas do not yet fully conform. These are listed in Section 4.
3. Measures We Have Taken
We have taken the following steps to make the Site accessible:
Navigation and keyboard use
- Full keyboard navigation. Menus, product filters, size and colour selectors, the shopping bag, the wishlist and the checkout can all be used with the keyboard alone, in a logical tab order.
- Skip link. A "Skip to main content" link is the first item on every page, so keyboard and screen reader users can bypass repeated navigation.
- Visible focus styles. A clear, high-contrast focus outline shows which element currently has keyboard focus.
- Consistent layout. Header, navigation, search and footer appear in the same place on every page, and pages have descriptive titles and a logical heading structure.
- Dialogs and pop-ups. The cookie banner, newsletter pop-up and shopping bag panel can be closed with the keyboard, including the Escape key, and focus returns to a sensible place afterwards.
Visual design and content
- Alternative text. Product images have text alternatives describing the garment, colour and key details; purely decorative images are hidden from assistive technology.
- Colour contrast. Text and interactive elements are designed to meet WCAG AA contrast ratios, and information is never conveyed by colour alone. For example, swatches carry colour names and out-of-stock sizes are labelled in text.
- Reduced motion respected. If you have enabled "reduce motion" in your operating system, the Site honours the
prefers-reduced-motionsetting and minimises animations, transitions and automatic carousel movement. - Resizable text and responsive layout. Content can be zoomed up to 200% and reflows on small screens without loss of content or horizontal scrolling.
- Plain language. We try to write product descriptions, size guides and policies clearly, avoiding unnecessary jargon.
Forms and interactive elements
- Labelled form fields. Every field in the checkout, contact, order tracking, newsletter and review forms has a visible label, and required fields are identified in text.
- Helpful error messages. If something is missing or incorrect, the error is described in text next to the field, announced to screen readers, and explains how to fix it. Your other entries are kept.
- ARIA labels. Icon-only buttons, such as the bag, wishlist heart, search and close buttons, have accessible names, and dynamic updates such as "Added to bag" are announced using live regions.
- Autocomplete. Checkout fields support browser autofill to reduce typing.
4. Known Limitations
Despite our efforts, some parts of the Site may not yet be fully accessible. We are aware of the following:
- Product image zoom. The image zoom feature on product pages is primarily designed for mouse and touch use. All information shown in zoomed images is also available in the product description.
- Older product descriptions. Some alternative text for older products is less detailed than we would like. We are reviewing it collection by collection.
- Third-party payment windows. Payment screens provided by PayPal, Apple Pay and our card payment provider are controlled by those companies. We choose providers that commit to accessibility, but we cannot guarantee their conformance.
- Carrier tracking pages. Tracking links may take you to shipping carriers' websites, which are outside our control.
- Size charts. Some size charts are complex tables. We are working to simplify them and add summaries; in the meantime our team is happy to help you find your size by email.
We are working to resolve these issues and will update this statement as we make progress.
5. Compatibility with Browsers and Assistive Technology
The Site is designed to work with the current and previous major versions of:
- Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari and Microsoft Edge on desktop;
- Safari on iOS and iPadOS, and Chrome on Android.
We test with, and aim to support, the following assistive technologies:
- NVDA and JAWS screen readers with Chrome, Firefox or Edge on Windows;
- VoiceOver with Safari on macOS, iOS and iPadOS;
- TalkBack with Chrome on Android;
- browser and operating system zoom and magnification tools;
- voice control software, such as Voice Control on Apple devices and Windows Voice Access; and
- keyboard-only and switch access.
The Site relies on HTML, CSS, JavaScript and WAI-ARIA. JavaScript is needed for the shopping bag, wishlist and checkout. Older browsers, or browsers with JavaScript disabled, may not display all features correctly.
6. Alternative Ways to Shop
If any part of the Site is difficult for you to use, you do not have to struggle with it. Our customer care team can help you shop without using the Site's interactive features, and you do not need to use a phone:
- Shop by email. Email [email protected] or [email protected] with what you are looking for. We can describe products, colours, fabrics and fit in detail, recommend sizes based on your measurements, and help you complete an order.
- Contact form. Use our contact form, which is simple, fully labelled and keyboard accessible.
- Alternative formats. We can send product information, size guides, our Privacy Policy, Terms of Service or Shipping & Returns information as plain text in the body of an email, or in large print format.
- Returns help. If you need assistance with a return or exchange, we can guide you step by step by email.
Our customer care team is available Monday to Friday, 9am–4pm Pacific Time. There is no extra charge for these services, and you will receive the same prices and promotions available on the Site.
7. Feedback and Response Times
We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of the Site. If you come across a barrier, please let us know:
- Email: [email protected]
- Our contact form, choosing "Accessibility" as the subject if available
To help us understand and fix the problem, it is useful to include:
- the web address (URL) of the page;
- a description of the problem and what you were trying to do;
- the device, browser and any assistive technology you were using.
You do not have to provide all of this; any feedback is welcome. Our process is:
- Acknowledgement within 2 business days of receiving your message.
- Immediate help: if the barrier stops you from completing a purchase, we will offer an alternative way to shop straight away.
- Investigation and response within 10 business days, explaining what we found and what we plan to do.
- Fix and follow-up: we will prioritise fixes based on their impact and let you know when the issue has been resolved, if you would like us to.
Any personal information you share with us when reporting an issue is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
8. Formal Complaints
If you are not satisfied with our response to your feedback, you can make a formal complaint by emailing [email protected] with the subject line "Accessibility Complaint". Please include details of your original report and why you feel it was not resolved. A senior member of our team will review your complaint and respond in writing within 15 business days. Written correspondence may also be sent to our registered business address, available on request via [email protected].
If you remain dissatisfied after our review, you may be able to contact the body responsible for enforcing accessibility or equality law where you live, such as the relevant national enforcement body in an EU member state under the European Accessibility Act, the Equality Advisory and Support Service in the United Kingdom, or the US Department of Justice. We would, however, appreciate the opportunity to put things right first.
We review this accessibility statement at least once a year and whenever we make significant changes to the Site. It was last reviewed on September 23, 2026.
