How to measure

  1. Underbust (band)Wrap a soft tape snugly around your ribcage, directly under your bust. Keep it level and exhale.
  2. Fullest bustMeasure loosely around the fullest part of your bust while wearing a non-padded bra.
  3. CalculateThe difference between the two measurements gives your cup size — or let the calculator do it.

Stylist tip: for shapewear, always choose your usual size — sizing down doesn't give more shaping, only less comfort. Between sizes? Size up. For corsets, size by your natural waist.

Signs your bra doesn't fit

  • The band rides up at the back — try a smaller band (and a cup size up).
  • Straps dig or slip — adjust them; if the band is right, straps should carry very little weight.
  • Spilling over the cups — go up a cup size.
  • Gaps or wrinkles in the cups — try a smaller cup or a different style, like a balconette or bralette.
  • The centre gore doesn't touch your sternum — usually a sign the cups are too small.
